Firewood Delivery in Northern Virginia and Maryland
Fall is here and Winter is on our doorstep! Firewood delivery requests are already pouring in from all over northern Virginia and Maryland. Place your order today so that you have it all ready for those first cold nights - they're not far away...
The quantity of firewood you buy should be commensurate with your storage area and how often you burn fires. Something to be wary of is ordering too much wood - especially if it is stored or stacked against, or nearly against your home. As you can imaging, if left sitting over a Spring and Summer, firewood could easily become a virtual condominium for various insects. If you plan correctly, you should burn up most of your wood, depleting your store by the end of the burning season.
At Saunders, we cut all of our logs to 16-20 inches, which will accommodate most any fireplace large or small. We also make sure that the wood we deliver is not fresh cut. Fresh cut wood tends to hold a lot of moisture and can be very difficult to burn. When you place an order with Saunders, from topsoil delivery to mulch delivery, you can be sure that the product you are buying is top quality and ready for use.
