If you plan on purchasing firewood now is the best time of year. With the limited amount of new construction/ land clearing it becomes increasingly more challenging to find the raw material that provides firewood. During 2008 most major suppliers were out of seasoned firewood by Thanksgiving. This year it may be sooner. By purchasing now you guarantee yourself seasoned firewood for those cold winter days.
